This is an awesome series with great characters full of both family and friends. In Opening Lines we get Clark and Bowen's (the two MC's) story and an extra dose of family with all of Clark's siblings and Bowen's nephew showing up throughout.OMG did Clark have me laughing so hard!! From his grumpy attitude to his aggressive bossiness in the bedroom ...where you'd think his inexperience would have him idk calmer or more insecure...but no Clark was like a wild animal going after what he wanted and taking charge...I loved his moodiness and "enthusiasm" for some of the things he had been missing out on so much and Bowen was awesome as he just takes it all in stride (or seemingly) careful not to push or anger the beast (unless he gets ruffled under the collar himself then forget it)...lol. There was definitely some tearful moments throughout as well. I mean when you're on book 4 in the series and you're loving these characters and they feel like family then you're definitely hurting and/or crying for them (or maybe that's just me being sentimental).The banter between all the characters was perfect and hilarious as well. It was great seeing so many of the previous characters and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get Sam and Wyatt's story. If you haven't tried this series yet...just do it...you won't regret it!! Highly recommend!!A couple of my favorite quotes:"I have no sexual attraction to people, typically, but you kind of turn me on, even though I can’t stand you.""... it’s that you regret the things you don’t say or do a hell of a lot more than anything else.”“I don’t like anything about you, Bowen Price. But I love all of it.” Opening Lines is the fourth book in the Hollywood Hopefuls series. This story is about Bowen and Clark. Their character development was so beautifully written. They love and protect so strongly.As much as they drive each other crazy, they have such strong feelings for each other. They just have to figure that out.This love story was so well written and I can’t wait to see what else this author will write.
