This book is a good up close and personal study in the devestation of grief and how it can settle on you like a weight pressing on your lungs while you struggle to catch that one sustaining breath to let out your grief scream. Beau and Mason fight their long held feelings that are augmented and highlit by their grief. They struggle through the story worrying about what Marc would say thinking he would not approve or even, didn't notice. Did Marc notice? Does love prevail over societal judgments? He realized he could combine his support with fulfilling his dream of opening his bar/lounge. Kelli, the realtor presented the perfect spot. But, it happens to be across from Levi's biker bar, Hell's Bells. He remembers, jock Levi from high school. He also remembers how he went all hormonal thinking of Levi and acted out by playing pranks to avoid discovery. He didn't think Levi remembered him, but Levi remembered the pranks. As good a businessman as he is, Hunter failed to talk to Levi before he bought the property. Levi dealing with a needy boyfriend, Gage who resents Levi's attention to Hell's Bells instead of himself. Levi felt his bar was threatened by Hunter's encroachment. Levi gave Hunter 3 days to rethink his location, or else. Hunter forgot, until he got the call there was a delay in construction. Theo wanted to pursue it, Nolan shut it down. They danced around each other for a time, then with a little help from their friends took a few steps. Nice story, a bit slow but it plods through.
